TUSCANY

1st DAY  :

ROMA, Fiumicino airport  - SIENA ( Km 240 - 3 hrs )

Arrival at Fiumicino airport and departure by private de-luxe motorcoach with english speaking tour leader .We drive northward, along the motorway "Autostrada del Sole", crossing beautiful country landscape. We reach Siena after three hours driving .Accomodation at 3/4 star hotel. Lunch free. Afternoon at disposal .Welcome dinner. Overnight.

2nd DAY :   SIENA

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel

Visit the city on your own starting from the central "Piazza del Campo" surrounded by wonderful palaces, like Palazzo Pubblico with the famous tower " Torre del Mangia". Each Palace contains painting, tapestries, ceramics from XV and XVI century . Next visit will be "Piazza del Duomo" with the superb romanic-gothic Cathedral .

3rd DAY :  ABBAZIA MONTE OLIVIERO- MONTALCINO SANT'ANTIMO

                  Full day excursion ( Km 160 round trip )

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel. Lounch in restaurant en route .Monte Oliveto Maggiore is an early foundation of the Olivetan Order and the abbey itself is one of the most interesting in Italy . The building was started in 1319, but over the centuries a lot of restauration and new construction have bean made. You can see a terracotta of the Virgin Mary and the Hole infant with two angels a beautiful Choir, the "Chiostro Grande" with frescoes rapresenting the stories of San Benedetto From Norcia .The Village of Moltacino is known around the world for the wine-growers,who produce prestigious wine like "Brunello Di Montalcino". Sant'Antimo Abbey is situated in a splendid valley with gorgeus nature all around . Between VIII an the XIII century, the bulding was continually enriched and remain onw of the best example of medieval architecture . A complete restauration made at the end of the XIX century shows the present aspect . 

4th DAY :   FLORENCE 

Full day excursion  ( km 160 roud trip )

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel . Lunch in restaurant . Florece is one of the most famous artistic cities in the world . It is impossible to mention all masterpieces left by the artists of the Renaissance period . In the morning, we will make a city sightseeing tour with an English speaking tour guide . After lunch, time at disposal to continue the visit on your own .     

5th DAY : ASSISI 

Full day excursion  ( km 200 round trip )

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel . Lunch in restaurant . Assisi is very  interesting touristic centre thanks to its rich monuments, the beauty of surrounding landscape , the witness left by San Francesco and the Franciscan Friars . Among   the typical products are handicrafts, wrought iron object, textiles and the traditional embroidery "punto Assisi" .

6th DAY :  SIENA

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel . Day free for individual visit and shopping

7th  DAY : MOTERIGGIONI - SAN GIMIGNANO -  ROCCA DELLE MACIE

Full day excursion ( km 160 round trip )

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel .Lunch in restaurant and route . On the way to San Gimignano a short stop will be made a t Monteriggioni, A medieval village with turred walls from the XIII century . San Gimignano situated at km..38 from Siena , is an important rural, industrial and tourist centre . it boats Etruscan origin, but the city developed during the middle age . Buildings in romanic and gothic style , many artistic masterpiece witness the splendor reached . In the afternoon the tour will continue along the zone where the "Chianti Classico" is produced . A stop  will be made at "Rocca delle Macie" , where a wine tasting will be offered .

8th DAY  :  SIENA - ROMA   Fiumicino airport ( km 240 )

Breakfast at the hotel. . Return journey to Rome - Fiumicino Airport in time to catch your flight back .
